Food
We all eat to live, but I believe there is much more to food than eating it. Food can bring people together, and having a nice meal with your loved ones can always become such a strong, lasting memory.
My passion for food has been always strong. Since I was young, I loved baking and cooking as a hobby. But I wanted to take my skills to a new levels, so I studied the art of cooking and baking at culinary school for nearly 10 years in Japan. There I gained extensive knowledge about how to handle and cook food, nutrients, how to bake, how to make bread, and much more. Because of that education, I have licenses to teach how to cook, bake, and make bread. I also have a license to be able to sell these products.
I believe that understanding your subjects is one of the most important aspects of photography. Having a strong culinary training experience in my background is an asset for my food photography. My knowledge of food and cooking helps me to create images in a way that I find most attractive and interesting.
All of the cooked and baked food here are something I cooked and baked myself. Even though food photography takes so much time, especially when you are making the subjects on your own, it is something I truly enjoy doing.
